SBI Art Auction is pleased to present “The 73rd SBI Art Auction | Modern and Contemporary Art,” to be held on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, 2025. The auction will take place at Hillside Forum in Daikanyama, featuring a captivating selection of works that awaken the senses and offer a unique opportunity to enjoy art as summer unfolds.
This season’s auction offers a wide-ranging collection of modern and contemporary works from the 20th century onward—featuring globally celebrated masters alongside rising talents. From evocative abstract compositions and poetic figurative paintings to sculptures that explore the essence of materials, each piece invites viewers to experience the world through a distinctive artistic lens.
Among the highlights is Andy WARHOL’s CHANEL, from Ads (F. & S. Ⅱ.354), a highly acclaimed screenprint that melds POP Art sensibilities with refined color harmony. Employing a palette of subdued tones, the work evokes an atmosphere of quiet sophistication.
