Sponsorship as Main Partner of Art Para Fukagawa Chatty Art Festival 2025 - Our Auctioneer to Lead the Festival’s First-Ever Auction This Year! -
SBI Art Auction Co., Ltd. is proud to support the Art Para Fukagawa Chatty Art Festival 2025 (hereinafter, Art Para Fukagawa) as a main partner company. Since 2022, we have been sponsoring this unique initiative, which shines a light on artists who have yet to be recognized by the world, and communicates to society the appeal and value of art created by artists with disabilities.
Art Para Fukagawa is a citizen-led art festival based on the concept of turning the entire town into a museum with artworks by artists with disabilities. The main festival will be held over nine days from Saturday, October 18 to Sunday, October 26, across the Koto City neighborhoods of Monzen-nakacho, Kiyosumi-shirakawa, Morishita, and Toyosu. A pre-event will also take place in the Toyosu area from Saturday, September 20 to Saturday, September 27.
This year, instead of the usual nationwide open call for entries, the streets will be transformed into an open-air museum, with more than 500 artworks on display. These works are high-quality reproductions created with advanced printing technology, based on award-winning and selected works from past open competitions. In addition, the Art Para Market Fair (AMF) will feature original works by the prize-winning artists of the 2024 open call exhibition, with all sales proceeds going directly back to the artists.
For the first time, an auction will also be held during the pre-event period on Saturday, September 27, with an SBI Art Auction auctioneer conducting the proceedings. For more details, please see the event information here.
Art has the power to bring people together, spark conversation, foster mutual recognition, and encourage mutual support.
We invite you to enjoy this handmade art festival that aims to create a society where everyone can “live together.”
